Our Story

I’m a small-town kid with an immense respect for hard work, and that’s exactly where Texas Stains was born. Growing up in a quiet country town, I learned early that nothing worth having comes easy. My dad made sure of that. He was a strict, hands-on, hardworking man who didn’t believe in shortcuts or half-done jobs. Whether it was fixing up the house, staining fences in the sun, or just keeping things in order, he taught me to take pride in the work, no matter how big or small. From an early age, I was out there in the heat, learning what it meant to sweat, work with pride, and take care of the things we built. Whether I was helping mow the lawn or sweeping up the shop, I was being taught to respect the process and the craft. That mindset stuck with me. Over time, I started picking up more projects on my own, getting deeper into how things ran, and becoming intrigued and driven by the thought of starting something of my own. Texas Stains. Now, I’m proud to be running this business while also attending Texas Tech University, working toward my degree, and growing this brand at the same time. Balancing school and business hasn’t always been easy, but the work keeps me grounded. It reminds me of where I come from, what I’ve been taught, and where I want to go. Texas Stains isn’t just a service; it’s a reflection of my roots, the lessons I was raised on, and the vision I have for the future.

Our Mission

At Texas Stains, our mission is to give every project our all no shortcuts, no compromises. We’re built on the belief that real craftsmanship comes from pride, effort, and grit. Whether it’s a small backyard job or a major restoration, we approach every piece of wood like it’s our own with full attention, care, and respect. Rooted in small-town values and driven by big ambition, we’re here to grow, not just as a business, but as individuals. Our goal is to keep learning, keep improving, and take our craft to new levels while staying true to the hardworking foundation we were built on.
